Admissions

As a non-selective school our admissions process does not involve entrance examinations. In the first instance, parents who are considering Haslemere Preparatory School for their son arrange to visit the Headmaster and take a tour of the school. They are then invited to send their son for a ‘taster day’ during which he will share a normal school day with boys in his age group. This enables parents and boys to gain first hand insight into what the school offers and allows us to assess whether we shall be able to meet the boy’s educational needs.

Entry to the school may be made at any stage during the academic year.

The school offers scholarships to boys in Year 3 and above. Bursarial support is available, on a means-tested basis, to parents who cannot afford to pay full fees or who experience a change in their financial circumstances during their son’s time at the school.
