Pre Prep
The transition from Nursery to our impressive, nurturing, boys only Reception class is carefully managed to ensure pupils enjoy a positive, happy start to the next stage of their education. As our boys progress through to Year 2, they are given an education designed to put basic educational building blocks in place, through the delivery of structured literacy and numeracy lessons. In addition, they benefit from a broad boy-friendly curriculum, with plenty of activity and stimulation. Whilst most subjects are taught by their form teacher, specialist teaching is offered in French, Music, P.E, Art and ICT. The boys also learn the importance of good manners and how to relate positively to others.
The Pre-Prep day runs from 8.30am until 3.30pm although 'early starters' may arrive from 8am. After school care is available until 6pm and a wide range of activities is arranged for pupils staying at school during this time. There is no charge for Pre-Prep before school care or after school care until 5.15pm. A small charge is made for care between 5.15pm and 6pm.
