Heights Old Boys
Heights Old Boys (HOBS) was founded in 1991. A committee was
formed consisting of a group of current parents and staff. The aims
of the society are to keep ‘old boys’ in touch with the school and
its developments and also to keep them in touch with each other.
Social events are organised and a newsletter is sent out in May and
November.
There is at least one reunion a year in the form of a football
match on Haslemere Recreation Ground followed by lunch in the
pavilion. This is held on a Saturday before Christmas.
Old boys are also invited to the Carol Service,
the Christmas Fair and, in the summer, to the Staff versus Fathers
cricket match. They are also welcome to Sports Day. These occasions
give former pupils a chance to chat to members of staff and exchange
news.
Life membership of HOBS costs £5 and members pay for the events
which they attend. Each departing year group has a mother who acts
as its representative. She has a list of names and addresses and,
after attending committee meetings, sends out newsletters and
invitations to all members to the events that have been organised.
If you are a Heights Old Boy who would like to receive a
newsletter please contact the Honorary Secretary, Mr. Kazem
Modaberi, at the school. Please
